FACILITATOR BIO
Facilitator: Shaun Tidwell | Founder of Salt7even Float Center, Sound Practitioner & Consciousness Explorer
Shaun Michael Tidwell is a mindfulness practitioner, wellness entrepreneur, and founder of Salt7even Float Center in Bakersfield, California. For more than 20 years, he has explored the intersection of mindfulness, meditation, sensory awareness, music, and altered states of consciousness. As owner and operator of Salt7even, Shaun has spent more than a decade introducing people to float therapy and the experience of deep sensory reduction, creating space for stillness, awareness, and introspection. He studied music production and engineering at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles and has a background in music, sound, and post-production for film and television, which shapes his work with sound, meditation, and immersive experiences. His approach to psychedelics is rooted in mindfulness, intentionality, and integration, and centers on one question: how do we bring what we discover in extraordinary states of consciousness back into our everyday lives? In his workshops, Shaun combines conversation, guided mindfulness, float therapy, and sound to explore presence, perception, and the relationship between our inner and outer worlds.
