The District House is a weekly gathering and core benefit of District216. Guests are welcome to arrive for part or all of the evening to meet community members, connect with visiting speakers, and engage in thoughtful conversations across psychedelics, wellness, creativity, and conscious culture. 💜

Topic: "Plant Medicine, Music, and Vibrational Essence of Creation"

Description: Shine Rilling, founder of World Peace Tribe and Shining Lion Music, explores the ancient relationship between sound, chanting, and expanded states of consciousness through the lens of plant medicine traditions from around the world. Drawing from years of ceremony and collaboration with indigenous lineages, Shine examines why nearly every ceremonial tradition uses song as a pathway to the divine, and how master plants so often awaken the human impulse to sing. In this immersive talk and musical experience, he'll share original songs that emerged through plant medicine journeys, tracing how these experiences opened the "gates of sound" and transformed his relationship to music as a living, healing force. Participants will be invited into a shared moment of chanting and singing together, bringing awareness to the shifts that unfold within the body, mind, and collective field through sound and vibration.

SPEAKER BIO

Speaker: Shine Riling, Founder, World Peace Tribe & Shining Lion Music

Shine Rilling is a visionary musician, healer, public speaker, and Earth ally whose work weaves together indigenous wisdom, plant medicine traditions, and modern science in service of human transformation and planetary healing. With an honors degree in biology from the University of San Diego and minors in psychology, philosophy, and Spanish, Shine brings both scientific rigor and deep spiritual grounding to his practice. His path with plants began in childhood, rooted in a family that grew medicinal gardens, and has since taken him to over 15 countries to study with shamans from the Americas, Africa, Hawaii, and Indonesia, and to train in Taoism, Yoga, and Capoeira. He is the founder of World Peace Tribe, Shining Lion Music, Peace Sticks, Bee Magic Sacred Chocolate, and the Uni Kawa Shipibo Center for World Peace, a living network of initiatives dedicated to raising the frequency of love, unity, and healing on Earth.
