Through decades of service, Diego has faced trauma, transformation, and the long road back to self. His journey has taken him from combat zones to the depths of psychedelic healing, from tactical leadership to emotional surrender. He now leads a new kind of mission: to help warriors remember who they truly are beneath the armor. As CEO of The Trident Approach, Diego trains leaders—from corporate executives to mental health clinicians—to operate from deep alignment and embodied presence. His talks are not performances—they’re transmissions. And they’re changing lives.

Alongside his wife Angela, also a firefighter, he co-founded The S.I.R.E.N. Project—a nonprofit dedicated to helping first responders access sacred plant medicines facilitated by Indigenous healers. Tim’s work is rooted in his belief that these medicines can more effectively address post-traumatic stress injuries (PTSI) than traditional Western treatments. A longtime canine Search and Rescue professional, Tim has certified six dogs across various specialties and founded the HD Search Dog Fund to support search teams nationwide. He also serves on the board of First Responder Therapy Dogs and previously co-led a nonprofit providing service dogs to children with autism and veterans. Now in the final quarter of her master’s degree in clinical psychology (expected September 2025), she is training to become a psychedelic-assisted therapist. Her future practice aims to integrate somatic modalities and a whole-person approach to support trauma-affected populations—including veterans, first responders, and LGBTQ+ individuals. Through her work, Itzel is committed to restoring dignity, agency, and hope to those navigating the long road of healing.

Today, Rob is a fierce advocate for first responder wellness and the potential of plant medicine in trauma recovery. His speaking style is raw and relatable—grounded in lived experience and driven by a mission to break the stigma around mental health in public service.
