Interactive Workshop: "Brain Floss: Sound Healing for Clearing Mental Clutter"
Description: You floss your teeth every day, but have you ever flossed your brain? In a world of constant notifications and screen time, we forget to give ourselves space to slow down. We stay locked in high-alert autopilot and rarely give ourselves intentional access to the slower brainwave states where deep memory consolidation, creative breakthroughs, and neural recovery actually happen.
Think of this sound bath as brain floss.
Following a brief introduction to mind-body awareness, frequency healing, and neuroscience, Kay will use intentional instruments and acoustic vibration to guide your nervous system out of screen fatigue and into repair so your brain can naturally recalibrate. Soundwaves clear out the mental gunk like fears, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs that keep you stuck, creating room for fresh perspective, creative flow, and genuine gratitude to settle in.
Many people leave feeling emotionally lighter, reduced physical pain, and the ability to make decisions with confidence and ease.
You wouldn't skip dental hygiene for a month and expect everything to be fine. Your nervous system deserves that same regular maintenance.
Whether you are priming your brain for the upcoming Marquee event or just need a deep cognitive and emotional reset, come lie down and let the sound do the deep cleaning.

FACILITATOR BIO
Facilitator: Kay Kavanah, Zaza Wellness Collective
From hazardous chemical waste sites and Air Force combat training to tech offices and yoga studios, Kay has walked in many shoes. A serial entrepreneur with 13 years in Environmental Health and Safety specializing in accident prevention, root-cause analysis, and ergonomics, she bridges the gap between hard nervous system science and esoteric wisdom.
After struggling with mental health diagnoses like ADD and PTSD, chronic physical pain, and surgeries that Western medicine didn't have full answers for, she turned to the ancient therapeutic practices of yoga, TCM, and sound healing. A lifelong musician, Kay reconnected with the multidimensional healing power of sound when crystal singing bowls became central to her own recovery, anchored by a daily, conscious gratitude practice that fundamentally shifted her baseline.
From corporate teams and professional athletes to Hollywood songwriters, her Santa Barbara community, and her YouTube channel, Kay has helped over 1,000 people reduce physical pain and sharpen focus through mindfulness and nervous system regulation.
Today, as the founder of Zaza Wellness Collective, she combines mindful movement and mindful stillness to guide overstimulated and burnt-out people out of fight-or-flight and straight into rest and repair. Obsessed with simple, practical longevity hacks and spending as much time outdoors as possible, she helps people quiet mental static, access deeper levels of consciousness, and unlock the creativity, memory consolidation, and recovery needed to feel better in their body and their life.
