On Wednesday, October 28, the District House filled with present energy. Beth McDonald, psychic, astrologer, and business consultant, led an interactive workshop called Your Intuition and Integration: Awakening the Divine Within.
Beth held the evening on her own, with the room as her conversation partner. She wove astrology together with other modalities to speak to the questions and life situations people brought with them. Her framework starts from a simple premise: everyone carries innate intuitive abilities, and you can learn to understand them and use them with more confidence. Becoming a professional intuitive is optional. Feeling more grounded, whole, and more connected to spirit in daily life is available to anyone.
That premise lands especially well at District216. So many of our members describe a shift in their intuition after a medicine journey, a deep healing, or a major life event. Sometimes that opening feels wonderful and sometimes it can feel confusing. Beth framed it as a homecoming, and she gave us practical tools for meeting it: stillness, mindfulness, deep listening, and a working faith.
Questions came throughout, and the audience brought curiosity, openness, and real vulnerability. Beth met each person with warmth and humor, and the conversation kept building on itself. By the end, the room felt like a community that had learned something together.
Beth’s background adds a distinctive layer. She has built her practice around business, legal, and political questions, working with CEOs, small business owners, and professionals who want to perform at their peak. She brought that same practicality to a room of seekers, showing how intuition can sharpen decision-making and well-being.
This is what Wednesday nights at the District House are for: a third space where people explore the questions they can’t ask anywhere else, guided by practitioners who bring something real to the room.
