Dr. Elizabeth Wolfson's Journey into Self-Awareness and Well-Being

Last Wednesday was a night to remember at The District House, as we had the pleasure of hosting a truly enlightening evening featuring the remarkable Dr. Elizabeth Wolfson. With a packed house, eager attendees, and an engaging conversation, the event was a tremendous success. Dr. Wolfson's journey has taken her to some incredible places. She has worked as a consultant for Skylight Psychedelics, served as a Mentor with the California Institute of Integral Studies Certificate in Psychedelic Therapy and Research program, and was the Vice President of Clinical Services for Field Trip Health and Wellness, an international Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy company. She also spent a decade at Antioch University Santa Barbara's Clinical Psychology Program, where she developed innovative programs in Healthy Aging, Somatic Psychotherapy, and Women & Leadership.

Throughout her career, Dr. Wolfson has been a force for positive change. She's developed award-winning projects aimed at combating racism and empowering marginalized populations, been a project associate on two documentary films, and held various leadership roles in professional organizations, including the NASW (National Association of Social Workers) and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Notably, Dr. Wolfson is a pioneer in the field of Psychedelic-Supportive Psychotherapy and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy. She's published and presented extensively on these topics, alongside others like creativity, intimate relationships, psychotherapeutic processes, trauma, gender, empowerment, and healthy aging. Dr. Wolfson's impressive list of credentials also includes certifications in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, MDMA Therapy Training, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.

Her private practice in Santa Barbara, California, focuses on personal, interpersonal, and professional well-being, life transitions, empowerment, creativity, and the integration of psychotherapy, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and Psychedelic-Supportive Psychotherapy. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Wolfson offers coaching, organizational consultation, and integration services, as well as facilitating workshops and retreats supporting personal and professional growth, creativity, and self-actualization.
