Kambo, Wilka, Mushrooms, Ayahuasca, 5-MeO & more: An Evening of Earth Medicines with Heather Mack
The District House transformed into a sacred space of remembrance, connection, and shared wisdom.
Facilitator Heather Mack—ceremonialist, Kambo & Earth Medicine practitioner, and contributing author in the #1 bestselling book Triumphs of Transformation—welcomed us into a circle to explore the profound healing power of nature’s most sacred medicines: Kambo, Wilka, Mushrooms, Ayahuasca, and 5-MeO.
From the moment guests arrived, the energy in the room was grounded. Refreshments were shared, conversations sparked, and by the time the workshop began at 6:30 PM, our circle was ready to open, listen, and learn.
Heather began by sharing her own story—how a life-altering experience during her father’s illness set her on a path away from corporate America and toward a life of ceremony, healing, and service. She spoke with deep reverence about the teachers she’s met along the way: the plants, the animals, the spirits, and the people who walk the medicine path with integrity and care.
Throughout the evening, participants were encouraged to ask questions in real time. The dialogue flowed organically—touching on preparation, integration, safety, and the unique ways these medicines can guide us back to our truest selves. Heather’s responses were thoughtful and unhurried, always bringing the focus back to the Earth as our original healer and greatest teacher.
We learned about the purifying and cleansing effects of Kambo, the visionary realms of Wilka, the gentle yet profound teachings of Mushrooms, the deep heart-opening of Ayahuasca, and the boundary-dissolving expansion of 5-MeO. But beyond the facts and traditions, Heather’s greatest gift of the night was the reminder that these medicines are part of a larger relationship with the natural world—a relationship rooted in respect, reciprocity, and remembrance.
There were no cameras, no recordings—only presence. Every insight, every question, every shared moment was held within the circle, making the experience feel rare and intimate.
As the night came to a close, guests left with more than just information. They carried home a renewed connection to the Earth, a deeper understanding of sacred medicines, and a sense of belonging within the District216 community.
💜 Thank you, Heather, for your open heart, your wisdom, and your devotion to this work. And thank you to everyone who joined us in the circle—you are what makes these evenings so meaningful.
